Axel Pelletanche is a Paris-based graphic and type designer offering art direction, design solutions and consultancy services. After graduating and gaining experience in London and Berlin, he spent two years working at Ohlman Consorti collaborating alongside clients from A.P.C. to Dior. He is now operating as an independent.
Notable commissions include clients such as nike, Off-White, Mains London, Pangaia, boiler room, deewee RECORDS, Capitol Music, Galerie Perrotin, MO.CO. art center, oddity Paris, monsieur l’agent and many more.
Early 2020, he was appointed art director and designer of Trax magazine periodical printed publication teaming up with Clément Gicquel. From early 2021, Axel serves as Art Director for Forma overseeing the visual identity and graphic design of the brand. He also works alongside Frank Ocean’s team in developing design and typography for Homer. He also previously designed retail fonts such as KNIF MONO AND TRABIS available THROUGH “A IS FOR FONTS”.
